my Sigma 9VE was 11#. do not know know after shooting over 4000 rounds. trigger has smoothed out a lot.

Never measured our Sigma, but if it's less than 11 lbs I'll be surprised.

The specs at the link the OP posted says 8lbs +/- which seems fairly heavy.
