if someone finds and snags a weapon that is hard to come by, or gets a lucrative deal on something that theyve been looking for then i can see where there may some sense of accomplishment, however serendipitous it may be... perhaps a congrats for the stroke of luck and/or sniffing skills in finding the item are in order.
agreed though i dont find anything particularly monumental about consuming in general.
There is no one-stop shopping for one-shot stopping.
If you trade hours for dollars, really you didn't spend money... You spent X amount of work hours. Let's compare: If it takes me a week to build a beautiful wood cabinet (no I don't build cabinets) and I post a picture of it, would you congratulate me on a job well done? Money is just the means to an end, whether that end is a new gun or retirement doesn't matter. In the end it's still just money.
