Looks interesting. I saw 'something' similar only it had a laser in the center ... Sorry, can't remember who made it ...

The Ghost Ring sights have their place for sure, I have shot with them before and like the look but I do not shoot as well with Ghost Rings for some reason

appears to me it would interfere with your sight picture.

Iwould not use them on a servise pistol until I had a lot of practice, that said we have what we have because it is hard to improve on it. I don't believe I'm old fashion just a firm believer in the KISS system, Keep It Simple Stupid. This is more important on something that you trust your life with.

I wonder just how much of the view of the front sight blade is blocked by the sight. It MAY interfear with your ability to use a "flash sight" in the vertical.

the idea is more appealing to me on a shotgun where the focal difference is more pronounced.

on a shotgun the ring is closer to your eye and the front sight is further away from the ring.
this makes the ring more effectively blur or ghost out.

on a handgun both sights are closer together yet both further from your eye. the focal difference between them is less.

to each their own. ive handled a handgun with ghost ring sights and prefer more traditional sights. others prefer the GR.

Every time I try a non-3dot sight, I end up not liking it. I've toyed with the idea of a ghost ring rear, but seem to think it will end up like the rest of the off the beaten path sights I've tried before. I just can't find fault in regular 3 dot Trijicons.

+1. my favorite is the 3 dot night sights with an orange or yellow front dot and green rear dots.

I have a set on my G27 of the Ameriglo Ghost ring night sights. I was having trouble with the "white on white" of the stock sight. The rear sight is similar to the iron sight on some military rifles. I get a much quicker "pick up" of the front sight and I am able to center in the ring very fast. Yes, it's different than the standard sight, but I prefer it to the stock sight. Again, my biggest problem was being able to focus on all the white on the stock glock sight....this cured that for me.
