i was working when the wifey called me in a panic that she could see a tornado and the next thing i know the call was lost. i raced home and found we had no power. the threat of tornado appears to have past, but the power is still out. we are currently up and running on a 10,000 watt generator but i will have to switch over to the quiet generator in a few hours as bedtime approaches. i have generator resources to run 24/7 but thats no guarantee that the ISP will have power. if everything goes down, thats why. outtages can be expected for the next while.
somebody please take the initiative to post this on all the sister forums; ive got preparations to make and things to do at least until the power comes back on.

You guys stay safe.
I've lived in MT for 34 years and have only seen 1 tornado in Great Falls. Just the other day, after we dealt w/ our own tornado and hail, my daughter was saying that in MT, we didn't have to worry about stuff like this. Ha! I just showed her the video and she just about fell over. I would recommend a NOAA weather radio.

| Glad to hear things are basically OK for you. I heard there was some hail damage in addition to the wind damage, I guess no surprise there. Keep us updated. |
