I have the 462 which is the stainless model. Did you realize this gun weighs about 26 oz unloaded? Not exactly pocket carry material for me, but the gun itself is pretty nice after breaking in the nasty trigger.

| Through a quirk of Ebay and a side trip to the Pawn Shop, I have a 461 and a 462. The 462, which was used, has been a terrific pistol, reliable, accurate and fits my hand very well. The 461, which I bought New, has never worked properly -- the cylinder just hangs up most of the time. I will be sending it back to the service facility. My first experience with Taurus service was positive, so I am hopeful that the Rossi will get fixed. So, my experience with the 461/462 has been mixed. Good Luck! |
