Hi all!
Just passed my ccw class and am looking for my ccw gun. We've been looking at the Sig Sauer .238 but were wondering if anyone had one or had at least shot one? I am only 5'0" and have very small hands but it seems to fit in my hands well but I haven't had the opportunity to shoot it. The range around here doesn't have one either so I can't go rent it to shoot it.

Thanks!

First off, welcome to the family we have here. Glad you've made the choice to carry and protect yourself. Please take a moment to read through a couple of things that we have here. We highly recommend the carry of service calibers (.380 is not a capable round).

Please don't take offense to our trying to educate people on responsible carry. There are lots of highly respected members here who can answer just about any question you may have.

As far as pistols for smaller hands, check out a few pistols from Khar, Bersa Thunder or a Smith and Wesson J-frame revolver. There are also offerings from Smith and Wesson M&P that can change handle pieces, HK P30 or USP models that fit well. My wife uses a J-frame revolver and had a HK USP9c that was easy for her to work the slide and shoot really well.

Again, welcome and please stop by the NEW MEMBERS SECTION and introduce yourself so that we may properly welcome you.

TERMS OF SERVICE

More specifically this section.

Mouse Guns: CLICK HERE. Our official recommendations are clearly outlined and they will not change until ballistic science produces a mouse gun bullet capable of creating effective, fight stopping wounds. Due to the efforts of some hell-bent on promoting mouse guns in spite of ballistic evidence that clearly shows they are inadequate as primary defensive weapons, mouse-gun threads will be deleted, edited, or linked to the above link and locked. Exceptions will be handled on a case by case basis but they should not be expected by anyone.

This section should help you as well and answer a lot of questions.
