Been away for awhile, but im back. I've been trying so hard to find an XDs to out side by side with a Glock 36. Would love some insight into how they compare, especially reliability wise with the Springfield being so new.

From what I've gathered, the XDs should be thinner than the g36. That's not real hard to do, seeing as the g36 and other glocks that size are so damn boxy and brick like. This should really shape up to be a great .45 for concealed carry
I've owned and carried my Glock 36 for ~10 yrs both off-duty and on-duty. It shoots very good and carries well! I like the XDs, but wonder whether they will stand the test of time particularly the finish. The tenifer finish on Glocks is a tough act to follow. JMHO.
