http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/explosives-removed-from-james-holmess-apartment-and-destroyed-officials-say/2012/07/22/gJQAL9XN2W_print.html

This current article sucks on numerous criteria. Speculation, misinformation, BS quotes "Oates said a piece of equipment in Holmes’ elaborate gear — he wouldn’t specify which piece — struck one of the responding officers as irregular." ??? What could it be? A steely dan?

Of course, par for the DA media, the article contains common references to: assault rifle, high powered, stockpile, "clips", 'ballistic leggings" (?).

I draw two conclusions: 1) the 100 round drum mag is worthless. 2) Quiet introverted doctoral students just got nervous.

Sincerely,
Professor Stu Padasol

"Why be difficult when with a little more effort, you can be entirely impossible."

Odd....this super IQ whiz kid chose three high quality firearms, then a magazine known for jamming.

I have two AR's but only one is completed and it's not in 5.56. If they made a drum in 5.45 for AR, then I'd get one.

Interesting choice in caliber. Not to hijack the thread thought you'd like this:

for a considerable sum less, you could get 60 or 100 round surefire mags which are reportedly much more reliable than beta mags.

Ok, not to sound like an "anti", but are we REALLY scrutinizing this monster's choice of weapon/caliber/equipment? Seriously?

We're just taking this totally apart. And we're doing a MUCH better job than any reporter/comentator.

GREAT CHART MEDIC68!

The 5.45 is looking better and better!
