picked up an STI Spartan- blueprinted and with new trigger ( I know that photos will serve to verify- gotta learn how to post them). quite inexpensive for 1911- $700
my first 1911- NOW I know what the buzz is about. feels great- and shoots straight - I mean I could not miss with that thing yesterday, shooting steel at 20-30 feet. Will someday carry , but need a rig and muscle memory on the thumb safety-

I have been looking at this exact gun, where did you pick it up from? 9mm or .45acp? Keep us posted on how it runs please. Not familiar with 'blue printed' in guns, engines yes, will someone expound on what this is please.

I'm married, have 5 kids, 3 Jeeps, and 7 guns and still wonder why I'm always broke.

-The 1911 is a 45. was not even sure what blueprinting is but it has to do with the action of the gun. usually mentioned with rifles from what I gather.
only ran about 50 rounds through it in a light rainstorm.
will comment more as more ammo is fed through the dare I say " weapon "
