Re: Modern Ammo. .380 moving up in the world?

a 380 is mainly for 'pocket carry' ..... other than that, stick with a 9mm

A white kid opened a negro/black's parked car, and the cwc caught him. Then cops showed up and arrested the 'supposed perp' - looks staged to me

All hitler did was try and stop the bolsheviks/communists. He never wanted a war with England. Germans are the tip of the spear in engineering ... Werner Van Braun put us on the moon. All communist/hollywood gave us is porno, and a corrupted culture.

The same reason we carry anywhere else.

Everywhere else isn't dropping your drawers. I don't carry at the dentist because I have a distinct distaste for dentists. That goes for lawyers and cops. Someone maybe carrying, but I don't want to see it.

Why carry a gun to a doctor's visit - I was at the dentist and some SWAT fruitcake was parading around with his gun, I quickly left

The 1911 is still considered the #1 pistol. It is a true 'point and shoot' gun.

My pocket gun is a Seecamp, my car gun is BHP and a Mini 14, my desk gun is a Sig 226, and the house gun is a short 12 gauge. My main concern is dependability.

Re: New Beretta

Beretta should have just kept refining the original 92. They should have put more effort into solving the locking block related problems and continuing to up the build quality of the guns, instead of trying to copy whatever is hot at the moment. Everyone is plastic - even the small colt Mustangs

Nathan

What I have learned is 9mm and 223 are cheap rounds to find and buy. Another gun I like is my FN FAL 308 (no recoil)

Re: M1 Carbine love?

M1 carbines have been cannibalized and become jam-a-matics. I would go for a Ruger mini14 https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ZPIqS87L7zM#t=11 http://www.fulton-armory.com/M1-Carbine-Rifles.aspx ..... $1400 http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/10/16/newly-manufactured-m1-c...

Too many gun makers falling into plastic striker fired. Either settle for a Walther PPK (380?), or move up to a Browning HP or 1911. Give me reliability.

You are 'Spot-on' Mr nathan

Germans were always the world's great engineers, manufactures, and minds. Odd that Canada, Mexico, etc produce nothing. The great AK-47 is a derivative of the Strumgever assault rifle. John Browning was a great mind.

Re: CCW holders compared to police

Mr Nathan Do police commit crimes?? Oh you bet. Think of the constant 'Aggressive Behavior', move up the the prevalent use of drugs, and then the use of cops as stalkers, bouncers, data bank hacking. But, fellow cops don't report it, and consider it a 'Perk' of the job. Hiring a cop for a 'sidejob'...
