OC is not allowed in my state, Illinois. Even if it was, I would not OC. The advantage of it being legal was that it would protect the concealed carrier from accidental exposure of their weapon.
The Illinois law does state” Concealed or mostly concealed”, but I don’t think that has been tested yet.

Yes, this is a beautiful weapon. My question is, when you have something like this or any very expensive and gorgeous piece of equipment, do you carry it and risk holster wear, or is it taken to the range, cleaned and put in the safe?

Illinois already does it in the form of the FOID card(firearm owner identification card) they do a background check before they issue it. You need the FOID to buy ammo or even handle a firearm in a store.

Here in Illinois, if your doctors office is in a hospital or a building operated by a hospital you cannot carry inside.
