Yes, this is a beautiful weapon. My question is, when you have something like this or any very expensive and gorgeous piece of equipment, do you carry it and risk holster wear, or is it taken to the range, cleaned and put in the safe?

Illinois already does it in the form of the FOID card(firearm owner identification card) they do a background check before they issue it. You need the FOID to buy ammo or even handle a firearm in a store.

I am not a big fan of oc except for the protection it offers the wearer from printing or becoming uncovered by accident. In some states it is a big deal.

Here in Illinois, if your doctors office is in a hospital or a building operated by a hospital you cannot carry inside. The parking lots are safe havens, you can either leave your loaded gun in a container ( glove box is ok ) in the locked vehicle or unload inside the vehicle and put the gun in the ...

I agree with you on Wright Leather Works, I received my Predator for my Shield last week. It is a beautiful piece of work. I can't figure out how to post pics.

I think in my case it is more about experience with CC'ing, being from Illinois, I have been carrying for almost a year. When we first started the big concern was printing, so IWB was the logical way to go. Now with more time and getting comfortable I have found that OWB is the way to go for me. In ...
