MIC Holster

I'm very curious about the MIC Holster. All the reviews I find on-line are very positive. Does anyone have any experience with this holster.

The price is right. What are the downsides?

Re: Carrying a Cane

I believe there are a lot of situations that don't require the display or use of deadly force. Sorry everyone keyed in on the cane comment. What I wanted to do was start a conversation around disabilities and self defense. In my case I had my M-16 blow up in my shooting hand. It was broken in 22 pla...

Carrying a Cane

I'm a 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran and walk with a cane. I can actually walk very well without the cane. But I pay for it in pain at night if I don't use the cane. Anyway, I see my cane as a first line non leathal weapon, before going to a gun. Actually I'm just trying to stur up some interest on t...

Re: In vehicle carry

Gun in holster in console is what I've been considering. My console locks so I'm thinking of locking in there when I have to leave in the car.

I'm just looking for other options

In vehicle carry

On body holsters don't seem very accessible when driving and belted in. There are also times when I go into restricted areas and need to leave ny gun in the car. I drive a convertible. Locking the gun in the center console enough or do I need to bolt a safe into the trunk. As for carrying I'm lookin...

Range Bag

I'm new to Concealed Carry. I plan to spend quite a bit of time at an indoor range this winter. I have a range bag and need suggestions on what should be in the bag.

Re: New kid

Thanks for all the replies. I ended up buying the Shield 9mm. As soon as I receive my permit I'm starting with an IWB holster. I'm sure this will just be the beginning of my quest for the perfect holster. I already have a drawer set aside for holsters ;)

Re: New kid

Samuelrp Do you have experience with the Shield 40? I've held (fondled) many guns at Cabellas and the Shield really feels good in my hand. My right (shooting) hand was busted up pretty bad when my M-16 blew up in the my my hand in Vietnam, so comfort and fit is critical. I can't find a range in the ...

New kid

Well maybe not a kid I've got 2 Grandsons in college. My use of firearms goes back to the 50's. I used to plink with a 22 at my grandfathers place in the mountains outside of Denver. In the 60's I used various weapons while in the Marine Corps, especially in Vietnam. I was a hunter for a lot of year...
