Re: Weapons Mounted Lights

The x300 and the trl1 are very similar. I have friends that work for surefire so I went that direction. I remember checking that Surefire, but for me it was like $150 difference between the two, so the Streamlight was a no brainer. :P I totally understand. A hookup at Surefire has been a nice benef...

Re: Weapons Mounted Lights

My only mounted light is a Streamlight TRL-1 on my full-size G22 "house gun", and its kept on a mounted magnet of which I have a few mounted in any part of the house I chill/spend time in. Extremely easy operation with extended index finger to turn on, turn on temporarily, or instantly st...

Re: Weapons Mounted Lights

I like the one handed manipulation. I also like being able to use a full combat grip.. I'm hunting for a picture but I can't find it. You hold the light in your left hand between your ring finger and pinky with your thumb on top of the light able to operate the button on the back. You still use you...

Re: Weapons Mounted Lights

I'm experimenting with and liking the X300 on my bed stand gun. It has a focused very bright center and then the beam pans out. You can light up a potential threat without pointing your muzzle at it. You can quickly blind the threat and shoot if need be. I like the one handed manipulation. I also li...

Weapons Mounted Lights

Who's using a light on your carry gun? Which one?

Who carries a separate light for defensive use? Which one?

Re: I give up; Glock 19 for me.

Grip reduction and stippling are worth while additions for many.

Good steel night sights are legit.

I'm a a fan of the polished 3.5 connector.

All that slide stuff is bullshit

CZ Scorpion Carbine 9mm

The CZ Scorpion Carbine is a super sweet gun. Very ergonomic and very soft shooting with 147g loads. HB Indusrties makes some must have accessories. I paid 919 shipped on gun broker for the gun. A nice charging handle and trigger spring kit(to reduce pull to 4lbs) from HB Industries were huge improv...

Re: Condition 0 carry

When you purchase the gun's grip the web of your hand automatically disengages the grip safety. They are redundant safeties. I know what a grip safety is. My question is more along the lines of would the manual safety add protection from dropping the gun in the way a grip safety would not? I can te...

If you didn't buy before...

The title says it all. If you didn't tie up all your discretionary funds with pre election purchases, you should buy ammo now. SG and others have great deals. I just ordered a bunch of 124g lawman at less than 220/1000 delivered. Check gun shows too, I was at Wannamacher last weekend and 300/1000 .2...

He's among the very best. The above page links to his signature series. The owner does all of this work personally. Some of those stipple jobs are incredible. It's something I've always wanted to try myself, but likely never will. Why not send one of your many off? When you hold his work you'll sen...

9mm Win Ranger STX & Ranger Bonded 147g

SG Ammo has both of these quality SD rounds at good prices right now.

They also have WWB 115g at 209/1000 and Wolf Gold 55g 223 at 309/1000

I don't run the 115g, but I know first hand the Woldf is a quality product.
