Re: HK P30SK

Oh look, a taller, wider, and heavier Glock 26 with an accessory rail. That's neat.

In all seriousness, their attempt to market their cheap ass luminescent sights as "non radioactive" as if that is some sort of value added feature... is truly some hi-point-worthy douchery.

I consider it a big "meh". Just get a 300 blackout upper for the AR she already uses. You could be using a 100-150 grain load, and beat the pants off the 30 carbine.

Throw a revolver and a G19 down on pavement 5 times each, and tell me that revolver isn't locked up and as useful as a rock.

Re: Aimpoint PRO vs EOtech XSP2-0

I love my XPS2-0. I don't think I would ever get a PRO. It just screams snag/grab point to me, for some reason. My comparison was always to the micro aimpoints. I like the smaller dot on the eotech. If I had an SBR, it would probably get a micro aimpoint, just for the size/volume.

Reciprocity... That's when the slide goes back and forth on my G19, even in Chicago, right?

Fuck reciprocity. Carry at colleges, public schools, church, Illinois, movie theaters, government buildings,... If they don't have screening, carry your damn gun.

I'm not sure discussing on a public forum is a great idea. At least with any level of detail in the post.

Get an AK. If you're worried about group size, get a high quality AK (Arsenal and probably a few others). If you want the best, go Rifle Dynamics.

It would be LE/military only. I dunno....Colt nearly defaulted recently ( again !) because of that same attitude and the entire industry was watching. Without private sales, you simply cannot survive anymore. Did you see Remington's recent move? They're opening the Remington Defense products for co...

Didn't see that coming. It looks like the body is 100% polymer, instead of metal reinforced. Should be interesting to see some testing and comparison on mechanisms of failure.

Re: Desert Tech MDR

I'm leaning toward the 19in 308. It may depend on availability too. I could see a scenario where they don't release the longer barrels until a year after the 16 inch and SBR models. They should have the next generation of prototypes at SHOT, and hopefully some firmer details on release and initial o...
