Re: USPc 45 - SS?

i like the HK45c better but now your looking at $2-300 more to get one. I already have an HK45cT and it's a great gun (I mean...it's an HK). I could just swap out the elephant foot magazine for the short-mag but actually prefer the grip of the USPc over the HK45c. The HK45 has the grip texture simi...

Re: USPc 45 - SS?

I've read many times that the compact USPs have a tendency of breaking trigger springs unless modified. Any thoughts on whether this is an issue? I've never heard of this before so I did some searching. There is one website for HK enthusiasts, hkpro.com (I mean there are more websites, but only one...

So I purchased the M&P and love it! Congratulations on your decision! The Sig is a very good gun, but so is the M&P. FWIW: https://s2.postimg.org/hhqc5ndll/mp2.jpg This is my collection of guns that say M&P. https://s23.postimg.org/bk34lw7gb/sigs.jpg This is my collection of guns that s...

Re: Server outtage

I've spent several months experimenting with various server packages, and I've found no Linux version truly superior to Windows Server 2016. I've ordered the Windows Server 2016 server package and will be running on the new local server very soon. If there are any requested feature updates, let me k...

Re: Security guard thwarts a bank robbery

On the other hand you occasionally find people of extraordinary quality who do security work because they don't fit into most other occupations well, and haven't found other outlets. I'm always scanning for videos to use in class to teach my students what to do and what not to do. Over the years I'...

Re: Security guard thwarts a bank robbery

Some of the most violent videos I see come out of Brazil, and some of the best police work I've seen does, also. That must be a real shit-hole over there?

This guard overall did everything right.

Re: M&P or Sig 226 SCT

The first Sig I ever saw, about 1974, was made like a fine clock. Ah, the good ole days back when Sig was made in Germany. Sig builds a good gun, I just bought a Legion on New Years, but no, they aren't that much better. The metallurgy has improved since then considerably, early Sigs had common fra...

Ayoob on the G19

"Many manufacturers have challenged the Glock 19 by creating polymer-framed, striker-fired pistols similar in size and capacity. But none have yet toppled the G19 from its perch as the leader in the niche it created more than a quarter-century ago. None is yet so widely adopted, nor so “street ...

Re: why the glock

I just scored a left-over Gen 3 Glock 22 with the RTF. I have a 23 in RTF and love it. Glock dropped the RTF because women and men with soft women hands couldn't handle the rough texture. For me it's ideal.

Re: why the glock

I get it. I totally get it. I purchase a lot of guns and love them all, but with each new acquisition over that last ten years or so, after the "new" wears off of the new gun I find myself going right back to my Glocks for daily carry. Last week I bought a new M&P 2.0 and overall its a...

While this video involves the Pro Core model, the complaint is the exact same as mine in regards to the trigger. I cannot understand why S&W would develop such a great gun and then put such a shit trigger in it.

Re: M&P 2.0

Not to derail your post Nate but how do you like the M&P 15 22? Im looking at both the AR and handgun M&P platforms in 22lr to use helping new shooters and for cheaper training for me. I think the M&P 22s are the best .22 auto-loaders available today. My most shot .22 is my Henry Silver...
