Re: Sig malfunction

I haven't had any issue out of my old Sig P6, but I made the grave mistake of picking up a Para P12-45. That was a terrible pile of crap. FTF and stove piping like you wouldn't believe. I dropped it after that and got the P6 that never so much as hiccuped on me.

Re: No manual trucks?!

It seems dodge is the only one that still puts it in the HD series even Chevy stopped doing it. There should at least be the option even if it isn't a huge seller, there are people that'll buy it.

Re: No manual trucks?!

Makes me very sad, considering I'm only 23 and it's only gonna get harder to find anything with a proper manual in anything other than high end sports cars I'll never afford lol

Re: The Chess Game of Ammo Type and Shot Placement

I have taught myself to focus on head shots. In real life I imagine it would be two to the chest, and one to the head. I don't focus on bullet types, but I always run the same ammo - Fiochhi 115 FMJ. My real concern is the gun is reliable. When I got trained it was two to the chest, failure to stop...

Re: AK47 vs SKS vs Mini 30 questions

I own this one. Put about 500 rounds through it with no problems of any kind. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/36_756/products_id/714008456/CEN+GP1975+762X39+16.25+FH+30 I didn't buy this for home defense-- purely for 2nd amendment/SHTF. Its built like a tank. It came with ...

No manual trucks?!

So I have been reading up on the new Colorado that Chevy has reintroduce, and I love the design but find disappointment in the fact that the 6 speed manual only comes in the base 2wd four banger. I was really hoping tto be able to get it in 4WD due to my moving back to Massachusetts. Any recommendat...

Re: Vickers Sling - Buy One Get One

I had a Vickers 2-point on my duty weapon for a while, it works pretty well. The quick adjustment made it a snap to switch shoulders in CQC environments.

Re: The Chess Game of Ammo Type and Shot Placement

I always stagger load my magazines just in case. On the. 45 I ran 230 HP and then FMJ. My 9mm was loaded with 147gr Hornady and 124 gr FMJ. I figured with how I trained to shoot, if the BG has some sort of second chance vest the first two rounds will hurt and give me a chance to shift aim for a cris...

Re: How to deal with 'Road Rage'

I find that if you pee on your aggressor they back down....In all reality I found that in my current state of not having a carry piece the best defense is a crowbar but avoiding or disengagement when at all possible is the best way to stay safe. I have had my times when I was younger of being brash ...

Re: Arcus 98DA

My LGS when I was in Montana got a few in at one point. It really seems like a solid piece but I wasn't sure about the Arcus name in regards to quality considering the sticker price was about $350 brand new and cosmoline covered.

Re: if u can only have one long gun...

That 45-70 is a nasty beast. I about knocked my shoulder off with a marlin lever a few years back. My buddy didn't tell me what it was before he handed it to me. Boy was I surprised.

Re: AK47 vs SKS vs Mini 30 questions

Can the standard SKS be converted to AK mags? My Norinco had this detachable with the tail on it. Sort of wonky.

Re: Keltec KSG 12 gauge

I haven't heard any good reviews on the UTS 15. Seems they are prone to jamming up pretty frequently. As far as the KSG I've been nervous to go near it because of some of the feed issues a good amount of people have had. I'm wondering if it's a break in period type thing or a design flaw.

Re: if u can only have one long gun...

If I had to choose one, I'd probably go to an M1A. Yeah it's heavy and cumbersome up close but I've never had an issue out of one and I like the 7.62 knockdown power. Can't argue with the Garand bolt system either.
