Nice. Does that pistol have an aftermarket barrel bushing? And what kind of grips are those?

Yeah, they want to ban semi-automatic pistols and rifles.

Make sure you are all up on this one (H.R. 5087) since it bans virtually ALL SEMI-AUTOMATIC FIREARMS.

There you go. Donald Trump shows once again that he is not our friend. The idiot bombed Syria, passed the MACA Act legalizing agencies' using your electronics to spy on you via cameras and microphones, wants to tax middle Americans' gasoline purchases, and is now showing his true colors (again) on g...

What are the benefits of it? Home brewing is like buying from a private individual. There's no government paper trail as through an FFL. Point's kind of moot though, since most of them are bought online and there would be a credit card transaction record or similar, which would probably be seized i...

Racking the Slide
I've never found a reason to abandon the "old way" of racking the slide - that is, gripping the cocking serrations between the thumb and the side of the index finger and using a pushing motion of the frame against the slide. It has always been more natural and feels much stronger to me tha...

Re: Ridiculous case in Virginia
References to Zhao’s nationality, echoes of the 2007 mass shooting at Tech and more recent national immigration debates have swirled around rumors of weapons stockpiles and warnings that students should stay away from large lectures. Racist much? Tech was shot up in 2007 by a student of Korean (not...

Re: Hi-Power Discontinued
The $3500 price tag might have something to do with it. See, I think just the opposite. Many don't mind dropping thousands on a good gun. I didn't hesitate to drop $4,500 on my Titan because they took an old concept (1911) and gave it updated features (double stack 10mm) in a hand built quality gun...

Re: Hi-Power Discontinued
from a personal standpoint, this sucks . I can remember when I was around 12 years old or so, my biggest struggle was trying to decide if I would one day carry the Browning Hi-Power or the 1911. I was leaning toward the 1911, but only because my grandfather had one. Deep down, despite my own denial...

Hi-Power Discontinued
It seems that FN Herstal has completed its last run of Browning Hi-Powers / P35s and the line is now discontinued. The reasoning reportedly given is that the Hi-Power apparently is not selling as well as it used to. Personally I just can't see that rationale being correct (in North America at least)...

Re: Sleeve guns???
If you just want a concealed backup pistol but it doesn't have to be on your arm, Yankee has it right with ankle carry. I assume you are uniformed security so a shoulder holster or crossdraw couldn't be concealed and are therefore effectively non-options. The knife clipped into a wristband trick is ...

Re: Sleeve guns???
Here are the reasons you won't find too many people hiding a gun up their sleeve. It's hard to conceal something the size of a gun, even a very small one, up a sleeve with everything except a very heavy coat - it prints too much. Any holster on your arm will move around under the weight of a gun, or...

Like most everyone on this forum, I keep it concealed most of the time. The only times I have open carried in public have been in very high heat when a cover garment wasn't practical and IWB (my preferred method) would have meant a sweat covered gun at the end of the day. I can think of only one &qu...

Re: Help me wiff my maff.
I'm not thinking so much of the weight of the projectile directly causing faster drop so much as the increased weight decreasing forward velocity so that it would take longer for the projectile to reach the target, therefore increasing the amount of time in which the projectile could drop. I could b...
