With all the guns offered these days, I don't know anybody that carries a Hi-Power.

Re: How women carry

I too expected purse carry to unfortunately be used much more often based on what I hear from ladies. The data from this study seems to come from the holster sales of The Well-Armed Woman. Thus, this group of women are more educated and "hard core" with gun carrying compared to the average...

Re: Mass shooting in Texas Church stopped by armed citizen

My revolvers and magazines are loaded so I will never need to fumble with loading rounds under stress. Need to be thinking about other things and I have additional time to deal with the situation.

Re: Off duty officer is not armed during Vegas shooting

I think at the time those in the club just heard the shots and had no idea where they were coming from. Therefore, they wondered if this person or persons might come down the street and threaten them also. My reason for sharing this issue is how many people only carry when they think it is a higher ...

Off duty officer is not armed during Vegas shooting

An off duty officer in Las Vegas was not carrying a gun when the recent shooting event happened in Las Vegas. I heard from the news he was on his honeymoon. So here is another example where a person did not think he would need his concealed weapon, but of all times this guy really wanted to be armed...

Re: Urban Carry

I question how comfortable my gun would be in this position compared to 3:30 or 4:00 on my hip. On the hip it seems more out of mind compared to the top of my thigh. Also the part of this holster that is exposed is there to see by others compared to nothing to see on a IWB holster. Yes, most will no...

SOB carry can be at times easier for another to pull your gun than yourself. NOT for me. Plus, your back is turned to the guy that has better access to it.

Re: Developing a flinch

I recently got an extremely small wood splinter in my foot from my back deck. That was in the early morning and then I forgot about it. That night in bed my foot was throbbing! I could not believe a small splinter could cause all that pain. It had to stop it or I was going somewhere they could remov...

Goodbye kydex "snap"

I have been impressed with a holster I am using from Garrett Industries for my Ruger LC9s (9mm). The initial attraction was that the kydex holster is lined with a thin smooth leather to stop the kydex snap sound upon drawing. You can Google this company to see their offerings. Mine is called Silent ...

Black Gun Arsenal?

Has anyone had experience with this company, BGA, they are located in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.? I am interested in a DPMS LR-308 rifle and wanted to learn if any members have bought a gun from them? Your feedback is appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

SAP/Slap Jack

Not sure where this fits but of course redirect me to the proper area. Wondered if any of you owned/use a sap/slap jack? Particularly the beaver tail shaped ones. I thought I might carry one in my soft brief case for work. Yes, they are illegal in some states to carry. More of a novelty of a time pa...
