Not having any kids of my own makes it tough to say for sure. I shoot 140 grain loads in mine and use it as a brush gun. Maybe this link will help.

Non support side shooting

I have been taking a series of defensive handgun classes and the advanced class in October will focus on non support side shooting. I was hoping I could get some pointers on sighting techniques. Thanks.

I have a 36 and recently sold my 30. I like them both but the 36 fits my hand better and is easier to conceal. You can't go wrong with either one.
