Re: Bad news/Good news/Bad news

The M & P Shieid, although limited in capacity, is a lot easier to conceal, has a great trigger, and could provide a possible solution. Hope you get all those Florida votes counted, lol I was poking around in the attic and found some uncounted (D) ballots. I literally jumped the crap out some n...

Even though Newton's 2nd law (force = mass X acceleration), doesn't necessarily correlate to stopping power, it is kind of fun to extrapolate numbers on different weights and velocities to compare apples and orangutans. This calculator includes grains and ft/sec/sq. http://www.endmemo.com/physics/fo...

Re: Bad news/Good news/Bad news

I did, however, figure out that a shift to 3:30 with a little more cant (is that the right word---the angle?) puts the butt right back up along my decreasing fat crease and is comfortable moving around and sitting and driving. I, too, enjoy my Crossbreed at 3:30 with good cant. Never been made, as ...

Re: Bad news/Good news/Bad news

Would a fanny pack be more appropriate for church? I wore a fanny pack through Disney Land and nobody seemed to take notice. To me, besides being corny, a fanny pack screams gun. I'd convert my Safepacker to a choir folder before I'd do that. As you know, the Safepacker kicks ass (once you razor bl...

Re: Bad news/Good news/Bad news

Truly sorry to learn of your health issues but I'm glad that you are addressing them. What model of carry gun are you trying to conceal? G23. It's not that hard, but it spooked me to be made at church. My standard response to "Do you carry a gun?" is: "No, I carry two." My insti...

Bad news/Good news/Bad news

The bad news is back in April I had a series of health issues that I had to address. My body systems seem to be wanting to race each other into extinction. I've had kidney, liver, and cardio issues. But I know several of you have far worse problems, so I'm blessed. The good news is I addressed sever...

Shot and killed a shoplifter. I think the video will cause him some problems. http://www.tampabay.com/news/publicsafety/Surveillance-video-shows-Lakeland-city-commissioner-shooting-alleged-shoplifter_172671529?fbclid=IwAR3aF-7MH0LcqE3WT_UsgUY5QUjdVNRqpDvsPh1XHA1OE4vTbmmk7yXMQQ0 My Florida locale has...

Re: New truck

I was thinking about looking at barely used 250's too. I don't tow more than about 7000 pounds, but why not make it an easy tow? I don't believe much I see in print, especially the tow ratings of pickup trucks. Maybe the rating is good at sea level on a straight and level road, but dangerous for cu...

Re: New truck

I definitely recommend upgrading to at least a 3/4 ton, if not 1 ton. If you use it to potential, it will last as long as a half ton truck. If you use it like you use a half ton truck and are typically running around at 10% of its capacity, it will last "forever" with proper maintenance. ...

So I'm going to go trade in my 2014 "keep it forever" F150 and get a new "keep it forever" truck. F150? Why not another F150?

And of course, the proliferation of juvenile pharmaceuticals combined with an entire generation of children raised by single parents and very realistic and violent killing video games would impact this situation.
