You'll get a better deal on a face-to-face sale off "INSERT YOUR STATE HERE GunTrader.Com". No paperwork. I always take a friend just in case to keep things on the level in the Walmart parking lot. Our police encourage sales in their parking lot as well. Who's gonna try to rip you off in t...

Re: Racking the Slide
This post did make me unload, which is rare, and just see what was my natural motion. I find that I over hand when the goal is simply to get one in the chamber, which is rare, because there's always one in the chamber, but I underhand with the gun upside down when I want to catch the round in the ch...

Probably good have gotten a better deal too on 200K units.

No FTF's or FTE's. Yep, if it wasn't for those damn heavy double action triggers, I'd be happy to carry a revolver myself. Really after 120 years, you'd think someone would be able to make a DA revolver with a trigger that isn't horrible. Cocking the hammer on draw becomes second nature. My S&W...

I just tried it and it's possible. I've loaded 9mm into .40's before. They don't go very far. But never backwards. You have to wiggle it to get the rim past the mag lip.

My off hand is simply terrible and so is my point shooting. I always try to position myself to blade with my left shoulder forward to take any hits on my off-side and preserve my strong side accuracy. But that's just me.

Red Dots
I picked up a 1X Red Dot sight from a friend who didn't need it. I put it on one of my AR's to try it out. It seems very low and not very comfortable to sight. In fact, so low it's below the front blade. I guess I need a riser? Should I try to space it so it taps the top of the front blade or get ab...

Yeah, noobs see 361 or 134 posts and don't realize there's a decade of discussion behind it. Dammit. I miss the archives. Yup, we had a lot of great threads over the years. I owe a lot to about 15 folks here (some not with us anymore) who took their time to educate me over the last 10 years. Thanks...

Sorry, not many gecko45 types around here. I'm not some tough guy wannabe, I'm a professional armored courrier. So I don't appreciate the snark. So am I, and know of zero companies that allow backup weapons. Also every qualification for armed courriers is laughable at best. I’m also an Iraq and Afg...

686+ 7 shot. It's the first "non-carry" pistol I ever bought. So sweet. Nicest trigger. Hand rifle.
