The gel tests are the best representation of what is acceptable. As Nate said. And as such I wouldn't carry less than a 9mm for defensive purposes.

That is what the high velicity small caliber rounds are designed to do in most instances. The 5.56 round was originally designed to tumble and as such create a devastating wound cavity. I pocket carry a Diamond Back 9mm. In a plain old uncle mikes own nylon holster. Aside from pocket wear due to active work. There's nothing wrong with it. Though I would opt for a pocket holster if I could find it...

The problem with this scenario is that I've already got my cz75d on my belt right now.... So your saying I get to grab one more, right? I would take my cz75 SPO1 and the suppressor. And a 2k round can... However in all reality I would grab my rifle and the combo box of 1k .223 and 500 9mm. ( already...
