Put a 19 in my hand this morning. The trigger is lighter but didn't feel as crisp. I like the slide finish much better. The deal breaker was it didn't point straight like the gen4, the front sight is up in the air again. The gen4 pointing straight and fitting my hand perfect is what brought me back ...

I like the groves as well, feels like it was made for my hand. Can't believe they didn't bevel the frame to match the front of the slide. Only thing that really appeals to me is the newer finish. I'll probably stick with my gen 4.

According to my calculation, if it now fires from 4' off the ground, the same momentum would be achieved at 8.4' off the ground with a 30% reduction in mass. So don't climb any tall ladders or trees!

I recently purchased a new gen4 19 after years without a glock. Last one I had was a gen2 and I just never could get used to the larger grip, and it pointed too high. Try a Walther PPQ, great trigger and the handle is just a little longer than the g19 and points straight.

I use Super Lube synthetic grease with Teflon and it works great! Doesn't stink or run, with temp range from -45 to 450.
