Re: Urban Carry

I was looking for something like this a couple years ago. Tried a smart carry. Did not like the comfort where it was designed to carry so I thought about shifting it over. Then it dawned on me that I could accomplish the same position with pocket carry. I have been pocket carrying a G26 ever since. ...

Crossbreed testimony

Well last week I went to put my crossbreed super tuck on. It was 7 years old. I heard a strange noise so I pulled it back off and inspected it. There was a crack in the kydex shell. I emailed Crossbreed and they graciously inspected the pictures I sent them and replaced it with a brand new holster. ...

Re: Glock 43

I finally caught one on the shelf at Basspro tonight. I really was impressed with the size and weight. Also, I could get all three fingers on the grip fine with the factory magazine. I just need to find one to rent at a local gun range to test. It will be interesting to compare the accuracy of it wi...

Re: Glock 43

I have become so accustomed to pocket carrying my G26 that I find myself saying, "why do I want to compromise my current capacity". But still, I keep looking for one on the shelves to checkout. So far, the spots labeled for the 43 have been empty because they get grabbed up so fast.

Glock 43

Well I guess the cat is out of the bag now. Finally, the long awaited single stack service caliber from Glock is here. I tried a search on the forum to see if there were any other threads, but the search seems to remove all my search words as common words. I can't wait until these babies are release...

Re: ATV Paintball!

From experience earlier this year. Paint ball is a blast, but the traditional method beat the heck out of me at my age. I was soar for two weeks. Quad-ball seems like a way you could still have fun at older ages. I'm game!!!

Re: Carry options and aging

I don't find IWB that uncomfortable. I am just finding that OWB is more comfortable and really isn't that much harder or practical to conceal. I think this may be a normal evolution as you become a more experienced CCer. Also as you become older you start looking for more practical comfort. It's jus...

Re: Carry options and aging

I have been gravitating that way too. I still, however, do carry IWB some. Mostly pocket in the summer and since I received a nice Columbia fleece vest for Christmas, I have been carry OWB mostly this winter so far.

Re: pocket carry choices

The problem with pocket carry seems to me to be the purchase. Getting your hand around the grip while inside a pocket can be challenging. Revolvers offer smaller grips than automatics enabling an authoritative purchase prior to draw eliminating the two finger slide out, adjust grip prior to present...

Re: Skinny Guy CC recomendations

Which holster are you using for your G26? Believe it or not I am using an old Uncle Mike's IWB cordura nylon holster for pocket carry and it has worked very well for me in breaking up any outline and I can replace it for about $5.00!! Randy I use two different holsters for pocket carry of the G26. ...

Re: Skinny Guy CC recomendations

My vote goes to the front pocket carry too. I too have to wear dress Pants and shirt. I wear pleated pants and pocket carry a Glock 26 and have never been made. Been doing it for years now. For a trial I stuck my wife's LCR in a pocket holster snd into my front pocket. Compared to the Glock it's lik...

Re: EDC Light

This fall I picked up a LED (luxpro LP600) on display at the checkout line at Lowes. 300 lumens for around $15-20 bucks for a truck light. It has a high, low and strobe setting. I forgot my streamlight on a hunt this year and end up using the Luxpro to trail a deer. It worked as good as my streamlig...
