Washington legislators propose bill to allow guns in sports stadiums

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/12/12/washington-legislators-propose-bill-to-allow-guns-in-sports-stadiums.html It sure seems like it would be easy for a terrorist to overtake the guys with the wind breakers and flashlights at the entrance, go inside a massive stadium, and just start shooting d...

Re: SAA

Sounds like you're wanting to re chamber your 45 LC in 45 ACP I'm not rechambering the cylinder to accomodate .45 ACP; what I would do is purchase a .45 ACP cylinder to fit my Peacemaker so that changing calibers is as simple as swapping out the cylinder. Colt says that the cylinder must be custom ...

Re: SAA

I think you need to rethink this whole scenario. Sounds like you're wanting to re chamber your 45 LC in 45 ACP to save on ammo costs and make it more enjoyable to shoot, and then you mentioned having your 57 Python reblued. With the conversion to 45 ACP, you need to subtract the $400 Colt costs from...

I suppose. I've seen her videos before, and I can't help but think that she appears to be seconds away from shooting herself in the leg, stomach, crotch, you name it. I'd hate to see what some gal that got one of those rigs from the holidays and doesn't have much experience with guns might do to her...

What an arrogant, yet ignorant response. Your opinion has been challenged, and so your response is to question my knowledge and suggest that I study up. Right back at you... We could keep playing this back and forth game, but instead I will leave you with this big picture summation: No matte...

Don't know about boresights, never trusted them. You must be tinkering with your daughter's new .243, and the picture looks like you can remove the bolt and look through the barrel. Why don't you eye-sight it? Because using a boresight will get him very close, so that when he sights it in the old f...

Re: Server outtage

Have we really ever discussed anything that would implicate criminal intent? Ever ? Granted that much of our content isn't politically correct but nothing has ever been said that could be considered treasonous or criminal? Not suggesting "we" have, but I certainly can't speak for everyone...

Re: Server outtage

I never said both warrants were equally as easy to execute. I said warrants for both could eventually be obtained, which is true. You also can't gloss over the NSA. Their servers intercept information, as it is sent from the server to one's browser... Whether that be PM'a, emails, or web browsing/s...

Re: Server outtage

Things posted online live on forever, whether they are on a cloud based server, or locally owned and controlled server. Warrants can be eventually obtained for both, but may not even be necessary for them to get what they want, given the over reach of the NSA. Besides, no extreme vetting of new mem...

Three words. National security letter. If you don't want to know when a LEO decides to ask for, and get a forensic image of all of your data, without judicial oversight, then there are vast advantages to hosting on a 'cloud' service. Heck, I keep the rent paid supporting the massive infrastructure ...

Re: .458 SOCOM

The reason your Bud's orders take so long, is that you're using an E Check. They have to verify the funds and it takes a while for it to process and then fund. If you pay with a visa debit card, or a credit card, it goes much more quickly. Of course then you lose the cash discount, but if you're in ...

Re: Seeking rifle recommendations

Here's a pretty good article on the subject, from a woman's standpoint: http://www.womensoutdoornews.com/2014/10/5-popular-deer-hunting-rifle-calibers/ I'd recommend you lean towards thinking long term, by getting a caliber and a rifle that won't just get used when she's a teen, but also when she's ...

Bud's Gun Shop did a price match of $999 so with that I ordered from them. This will likely be my last handgun purchase for awhile, at least until they release this same gun in a Commander (or if I found a sequential pair of P1650 Colts at retail). https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.p...

I still think the Henry Silver boy 22 like you have is far superior, and much more fun to shoot. It doesn't have all the plastic and inferior metal

Sights like that are fine, until you actually shoot your gun outdoors or in bright indoor light.

Re: Glock 44 and 45?

As much as I love Glock they really missed the mark with the 43. ? I think the 43 is a great success. It's as pocketable as is a Shield or XDS. It's not going to fit in the pocket of your nut-hugger jeans but I have no problem slipping my Shield or a 43 into most any semi-loose pocket. What about t...

Re: Colt's new Delta Elite O2020XE

With a checkered front strap I prefer these grips, otherwise I prefer the wrap-around for the front strap friction. I'm seriously considering getting this one and immediately sending it off to Wilson to remove the Series 80 fps, checker the front strap and install some night sights. Sounds like a p...

Re: Colt's new Delta Elite O2020XE

Yeah, I saw an article on that new version recently. Looks like a nice gun. If nothing else, I like the grips better than the older version that has a one piece wrap around rubber grip. This is more of a traditional 1911 grip, and I like that.

Re: Glock 44 and 45?

I kind of doubt that. Glock first came out with the 380 Glock 42, and even though the 9mm is very close in size to the 380, they still beefed up the Glock 43 when they released it. I would imagine they would do the same to a 40 or 45 version, by making it beefier than the 43. Glock is more about mak...
