Re: Attacked by Wild Squirrels

When I was a kid, I used to kill a bunch with my .22 and Mama would cook them either fried or in gravy with grits and biscuits.

Colt Commander

I have my eye on a Colt Commander in 9 MM. Never had a Commander, but the idea appeals to me. I imagine that,in 9 MM, it would be a sweet shooter. My gunshop guy has me one back ordered.

Re: I'm Back, too.

Yep, that was my experience, too. But, some can get away with it and people post vids with all kinds of bad language and just add the little NSFW warning. I got a big infraction because I posted that video on road rage where the Russian guy holds an AK out the window when some guy is yelling at him ...

Yeah, well, I did not leave completely as I kept reading. But, Hell, there is just as much or more knowledge here than over there, anyway, plus ya'll are more the kinds of assholes I like. We'll just have to disagree on some things sometimes.

Hell, I'm back. They kicked my ass off of DefensiveCarry. They are a pretty PC crowd over there. Cop hate and all, this crowd is more like me than the other crowd. So, here I am after I went whoring after other forums. :D

Re: Ruger Alaskan

Professor, If a grizzly charges, you have a 50% chance it's a bluff. Black bears the other hand, almost never bluff. Be careful. This is true. We have black bears here and I run into them occasionally. Usually they just mind their own business or ignore me as I am usually on a bike or hiking at a d...

Re: Ruger Alaskan

Well, I confess I have never fired a .44 Mag. I have fired a Bulldog Special .44. How much of a step up could it be from regularly firing a full size 1911 or a hot loaded .357? Maybe a tad more muzzle snap? Help me out here.

Ruger Alaskan

Anybody fired or carried the Ruger Redhawk Alaskan .44? It is one nice looking gun and a possibility for deep woods carry.

Rodeo

Do you guys know what a redneck rodeo is? That is when your wife is coming out of the shower and you go up behind her and reach around and hold her boobs and say, "You know, Honey, your boobs aren't quite as big as your sister's," then try to hold on for 8 seconds.
