Re: I give up; Glock 19 for me.

it amazes me the number of people that will buy a glock then stick $500-$1000 worth of "improvement" work into it. my VP9 is perfect right out of the box :D I feel the 19 gen4 is perfect right out of the box as well (mine came stock with night sights). Can't figure out why anyone would wa...

Re: I give up; Glock 19 for me.

Like any gun, you make a list of things you love and things you'd change. If any of the things you'd change are unchangeable, then it's a deal breaker. it amazes me the number of people that will buy a glock then stick $500-$1000 worth of "improvement" work into it. my VP9 is perfect righ...

Dan Wesson Valor & Dan Wesson Silverback 45's

I have Dan Wesson Valor and Dan Wesson Silverback for sale, both are in 45 ACP. through both are used, they have not been shot nor have they really been out of the box and could easily pass as new. the Valor has the black Duty finish. both guns come with all the factory goodies. let me know if you h...

Re: USPc 45 - SS?

Here is my 2 cents since i own both. I love all my HKs but to me, the SS guns are more "collectors" pieces. They certainly could work as a defensive tool, dont get me wrong. HK does not put many out any more and that is were i have classified them in my collection. I've had mine out to the...

No; not one bit. That's simple respect for the 1911.

meh, they are all tools. Use and abuse them unless they are pampered safe queens.

Re: Stolen gun DB?

All you can really do is get the SN from the seller and have your local LEOs run it. Even at that point, it's only going it show up if it has reported to the po-po.

Feel the situation out and listen to your gut.

they are fun. A friend of mine is a CZ sales rep and i got to try a suppressed SBR before the carbine models hit the market. Its on my short list since an MP5/HK94 conversion is probably out of the question for a long time.

Re: Condition 0 carry

@HKguy Oh, man. You just said carrying a Glock and a 1911 condition 0 are no different? Go look at a video of a Glock cut away model being cycled, and then do the same for a 1911. You'll see the difference. The Glock is hands down safer, and I'm a 1911 and a Glock guy, so I don't have a dog in the ...

Re: Condition 0 carry

That's not entirely accurate, and dangerous to boot. First, an XD has a Glock style trigger safety, in addition to the grip safety. Second, it has a longer and a heavier trigger pull than a 1911. Hell, even just holstering or reholstering a 1911 in condition 0 is dangerous. But, hey- it's your foot...

Re: Condition 0 carry

I've been carrying my 1911 condition 0. With the grip safety, it's mechanically no different from carrying an XD. Anybody else? I'd also be interested in hearing a rational argument against it. Setting aside all they hyper-safety-nazi stuff comparable to carrying unchambered for the illusion of saf...
