Most of the women I know who carry use purse carry (sub-optimal). I've also known a few biker chicks to use small of back carry for subcompact pistols. Only a few of the women I know use IWB, which would seem to be the best overall option.

I'm glad to see purse carry is only 13%. I thought it would be more. Does the source state how many people participated in the survey? I'd like to know if it was large enough to truly be representative sample.

The main problem women have with CCW is that dudes are always visually groping them, so we spot unusual things sooner.

Although the revolvers may be DAO, its nice to see that women like hammers on their pistols! I wonder if the fat women are carrying in the same fashion as the skinny chick depicted.
Best regards,

I too expected purse carry to unfortunately be used much more often based on what I hear from ladies. The data from this study seems to come from
the holster sales of The Well-Armed Woman. Thus, this group of women are more educated and "hard core" with gun carrying compared to the average woman. Wish more were reading gun forums, etc. Many here seem to stop carrying and leave the gun at home or use purse carry.

I agree, not sure this is a scientific study. I did recently observe a woman pulling a large lizzard from her bra, so an air weight j frame would easily fit.
