Ruger SP101

Post by HKguy » Thu May 21, 2020 8:53 pm

Well gents! i just got a hell of a deal at my local cabelas. I just scooped up a factory blem SP101 for less than half of retail :8 best part is, it is in 9mm!

going to take it out to the range this weekend and put it through its paces. I am sure it is just as good as the GP100 i have.

Post pictures? I've never seen one in 9mm and didn't realize they even made one.

Sweet! Leaves you money for the Hogue grips (must) and an XS Big Dot night sight.

yup! i have been quite busy for a while and the site would not load for me. ive put about 200 rounds down range so far. i had a little trouble getting the correct moon clips for the gun. the LCR 9mm moon clips will NOT work :(

I shot this gun in a fundamentals class i took with my wife and it shot great. no issues with ignition and recoil was very manageable. here are a few pics of it and my other ruger revos!

i also made my own de-mooning tool by designing and 3d printing the handle. i used a 1/2 piece of copper pipe i had laying around too.
