With the ever-changing political climate and civil unrest we are experiencing, I think it's time we had a serious discussion about long term storage for hidden firearms. A few years ago this would have sounded borderline conspiracy theory, but leftists are gaining ground on these "red flag" laws in an effort to disarm conservatives. I recently read AN ARTICLE where a Marine veteran made the comments:
His reference was in regards to responding to physical violence, yet this was enough for the FBI to raid his home and seize his weapons under Oregon's "Red Flag" law. Every day we discuss how we would respond to various attacks; who amongst us is next?“If Antifa gets to the point where they start killing us, I’m going to kill them next," Kohfield told a crowd, according to the Oregonian. “I’d slaughter them, and I have a detailed plan on how I would wipe out Antifa.”
This in mind, let's talk about all aspects of burying weapons. What do you bury them in? How do you seal them? Do you submerge them in oil, first? What type of oil? How do you create a buried gun map so that your family could find your guns? Are there guns that you bury that even your family doesn't know about (in case they are the ones who "red flag" you)? Is buried the only way, or is hidden good enough? Anything else to be considered?
I'll get more into my practices later in the discussion. I'd like to hear from the rest of you.
...hypothetically speaking, of course.
