Thoughts on tactics anyone?

Also can anyone identify the gun used by the clerk?

My first thought was that the employee didn't shoot enough. Should have had three rounds in the perp before he ever ducked down. Best I can tell, he only got a single round off in the first volley. Though I could be mistaken.

According to the news article I pulled this from, the clerk fired three shots during the whole incident. His first shot hit the robber (eventually killing him a while later) and his second shot hit the robber's gun, rendering it inoperative. The third shot missed completely

I think the clerk didn't pump his whole mag into the guy is because he was concerned about his two coworkers, who were only slightly off to the side in front of him when the shooting started. If they had panicked and moved just a little to the left, he could have shot them if he was using "spray and pray". There was also a customer close to the robber to worry about hitting as well.

I didn't watch the video because I don't watch videos where people are killed if I can help it. Good shot though if he killed the robber.
