Escaped murder suspect meets his end during home invasion

Hopefully the homeowner and his family learned the importance of home carry during this incident. This could have easily gone a lot worse for them because they didn't have a gun readily available.

Or the importance of not caving in to someone's demands just cause they have a sharp object. But if the homeowner had been carrying a gun when he was out in his driveway things would probably have gone more smoothly for him.

The version I read on another news site indicated the husband unloaded on the invader after he was down. But I can't fault him for it if he did.
Maintain the sport. Take a kid shooting.
