Acceptable fit?

I bought a commercial flatbed to use through the winter until I can build a custom bed around my Pipe Pro 400. In this case it's a Besler 8102SK58 that's supposed to be made to fit the 2018 Ram 3500 that it's mounted on. As the pictures show, the tire is not centered in the wheel well. The bed needs to be slid forward, but as the picture shows, there's just no room for it to go without hitting the cab (already only about 1.25" clearance instead of the standard 2"). If I had built this bed I would be embarrassed by the fit, but the OEM seems to believe this is acceptable. At this point I'm trying to figure out how far I want to push it. Am I being unreasonable to believe that a $7,500 bed should fit properly?

Can you wedge one of those foam swim noodles in there to save the cab?

One size fits all approach? I’d complain and see what they say.
