My daughter, spiders and driving

Postby jnic » Tue Sep 06, 2016 7:55 pm

After picking my daughter up from gym, she politely informed me that there was a spider on my shoulder. I thought she was trying to "make me look" so I blew it off and told her that I needed to watch the road. Next thing I know, she's pounding me amongst my head and shoulders with jug of chocolate milk. B( Fortunately, the jug was mostly empty or I might have been making another trip to the hospital.

:D That's a great story. My advice is enjoy the bruises and be thankful you did not pick her up at the baseball field.
Maintain the sport. Take a kid shooting.

Those would have been bad.

I'm glad that she didn't use her shoes and the vehicle behind me didn't get involved :o

Did she at least get the spider?

Sadly, she didn't. It went into hiding. My wife began looking for the carcass when I told her about the incident. She noticed a small spider on my left sleeve. She promptly took it out with a shoe. At least I saw it coming and her aim is much better.

That's too bad. If she had got the spider, it would have been totally worth the beating.
