Yeah, you're hardly the noob. I was totally blown away by all your competitive shooting awards when I was at your house. Amazing and awesome! You should toot your own horn once in a while and post some pics of those plaques.

Professor I won all those in 1982 and 1983 when I went to NRA Silhouette Nationals. I made a good showing for myself and even got permissive TDY to do it. I was on cloud nine when I tied Mike Mosley for High gun on one match but my head swelled up that night in the hotel and my additional score dropped the next day to AA second place. I did however feel really proud beating Charles Davis the previous years national champ and Olympic Running Boar coach. I was only 27 years old. Gosh that was a life time ago. Now my Son in law who is that age goes nuts when he shoots a better group than me with my own gun. He will figure it out when he is twice that age.

I just look at it like getting carded buying smokes or beer......maybe I dont look like father time to everyone
