Newbie from Maine

Postby Narrowback » Sat Jul 18, 2015 6:21 am

Hello all! I just signed up after lurking for awhile. Great forum, have already learned a lot. I have some long guns, an old Savage pocket pistol in .32cal and an M&P .40c that I will be carrying as soon as the Constitutional carry law goes into effect.

Welcome. My favorite place to be in July.

Welcome, Narrowback. You've got to show us that Savage sometime.

I can do it right now. 8)

It's a Savage model 1907 chambered in 32 ACP. Made in 1913 IIRC. 10 shot pocket pistol. My wife calls it her gun. It is fun to shoot.

That sounds like a great trip! Did you go out to Vinalhaven or Monhegan? I've lived here all my life and have always wanted to go on a schooner. I've been to many islands, but it was back quite a few years.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

we visited the wooden boat school in brooklin, and I think we dropped anchor one night outside north haven, and stayed in camdon at the conclusion of the annual sailboat race. Ill have to check my wifes notes to see where we went. We sailed on the J&E Riggin and are planning on coming back there in two years. If you get a chance to, I highly recommend them.
