California magazine ban struck down
Big news out of California. Their ban on magazines that hold over 10 rounds was ruled unconstitutional

While this ruling will certainly be appealed to a higher court, this is still promising, especially in a state like California. What I find really interesting about the ruling is how the judge cited actual cases of homeowners defending themselves in home invasions who ran out of ammo with less than 10 rounds. So nice to see a judge looking at what actual citizens use the mags for. Most of the time judges in these cases only look at what the criminals do.

My son lives there and tells me that they can no order online but no gun stores will stock them yet to prevent being stuck in inventory they can't sell if this gun right is lost on appeal.

I'm not sure I'd buy them yet even if they are available. It would suck to spent money on them only to have to give them up if the case gets overturned. There's a fairly good chance this might be overturned by a higher court on the way to SCOTUS

Sounds like a good reason to take a drive and visit Glock Miester in Phoenix, Arizona. That guy rules!

Ultimately, I don't believe that it matters. As soon as they strike down a gun law, they pass three more that have to work their way through the courts. This is intentional.

California. Notwithstanding the range of Mother Nature's wrath upon this state, they are simply going broke quickly with extraordinary tax rates, record homelessness, sanitation problems and disease, and crumbling infrastructure (Orville Dam?), yet the social warriors just ignore all that and keep on passing bills while Jerry Brown pushes his $70 billion choo-choo. Idiots.
