.357 sig

Post by HKguy » Wed May 22, 2019 4:13 pm

Alright gentlemen, I'm about to pull the trigger on my long lusted after perfect carry gun, a P2000 LEM in .357sig.

I see there is plenty of HST/Gold Dot/Ranger ammo out there. Anything else I need to consider ?

Sweet. I wish I could afford H&K or .357sig ammo, but being the lowly school teacher, I'll stick with my Glocks and Smiths. I love the DA/SA Smiths.

Almost industry wide, the 357 Sig has been downloaded to 1,350 fps, down from the original 1,450 fps. The only people who continue to load to potential are Corbon and Buffalo Bore. There is also a 147 grain load available from Hornady that takes a great caliber and makes it even greater. The 147 grain 357 Sig is about as awesome as it gets, and I highly recommend it. My best recommendation? Always. Go. Heavy. Caliber to caliber, heavy will never let you down.

i found a pretty local source for commercial reloads at very reasonable rates. These are also advertised to be loaded very close to potential at 1400 fps.

something to drool over.

That really is an excellent price on 357 Sig. I'm used to paying $31 for fifty rounds of WWB at WalMart. For that reason I rarely train with 357 Sig.

Update me on it after you try them out; I want to order some if they are quality.

Order with confidence. A few of my IDPA buddies are sponsored by them and the company have taken several firearms classes through is also sponsored by them.

Check out www.sgammo.com for 357 Sig ammo. I bought 50 round boxes of range ammo for $15.95 a box recently.

357 Sig ammo is twice as expensive off the shelf for range ammo, than 10mm range ammo, which is crazy.
