Lousy New Laws in Vermont

Postby Hand and Steel » Sat May 12, 2018 12:57 am

Most of us know that Vermont has long been one of the best states for gun owners, with no-permit concealed carry having always been legal - for both guns and knives.

Last month Vermont's mental-enslavement gang (I mean government) passed a law prohibiting private sales of firearms between anyone other than family members, banning bumpstocks, and raising the age limit to purchase a firearm to 21 unless the 18-20 year old in question has taken a safety course.

This sort of behavior on the part of Vermont's legislature is truly unexpected. While plenty of leftist political parasites have come from Vermont, Vermont is typically a very "leave us alone" sort of place. We can assume that many people in Vermont will simply ignore this new piece of legislation.
"It is demonstrable that power structures tend to attract people who want power for the sake of power and that a significant proportion of such people are imbalanced — in a word, insane.” – Frank Herbert
